Third Lambeth Architecure Book Published
Following the great success of Lambeth’s Edwardian Splendours and Lambeth Architecture 1914-1939, the third in the series of books written by Edmund Bird and Fiona Price, Lambeth Architecture A Brave New World 1945-65, has just been published. This 172 page book, lavishly illustrated with photographs by John East, chronicles new building in Lambeth in the first two decades after the Second World War: public, commercial, housing, ecclesiastical and more are all covered. The book is available at Lambeth Archives for £10.
