Friends of West Norwood Cemetery (FOWNC) aims to increase knowledge and appreciation of West Norwood Cemetery. We hold tours of the major monuments on the first Sunday of every month and a Saturday mid-month, as well as special-themed tours and talks throughout the year. You can find details of these by looking us up on Eventbrite.

We publish three newsletters a year, and send out monthly mailings to members. You can find details of our publications on our website.

As a registered charity we aim to raise funds for conservation work, and to encourage other organisations and individuals to make contributions.

Through our efforts, numerous monuments have been repaired or more substantially restored during the past decade, and an extensive programme of works directed by Lambeth Council is currently under way.

West Norwood Cemetery is on Norwood Road, a short walk from West Norwood Railway Station. Burial, cremation and grave records, and opening times are on the Lambeth Council web site.
